The Husa Oriente is a grand 19th century hotel set on Barcelona's most famous street, Las Ramblas, 200 meters from the Liceo Theater, designer shopping, and the Gothic Quarter. The 142 guestrooms have neutral décor with modern wood floorboard and furniture and views over Las Ramblas. All include Internet connections, air conditioning, television with pay movies, and telephones.
The hotel houses two dining options; La Poma, which offers pizza and pasta in a Mediterranean setting and Atic, which serves Mediterranean dishes and is open for lunch and dinner. Guests can catch up with the news with complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and ask the concierge for sightseeing assistance. Those on business can make use of conference and event rooms, a ballroom, and catering facilities. Other amenities include a laundry, currency exchange, and parking spaces (surcharge), 100 meters from the hotel. Nearby attractions include the Conference and Exhibition centers, two kilometers away from the hotel. The hotel is approximately 18 kilometers from Barcelona Airport. Regular train services operate from the airport to the city center every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya every 12 minutes. Alternatively, taxis are available in front of the airport terminals.
